CCOC encourages and supports tenants who want to bring community building initiatives to life where they live! Over the years, tenants have celebrated together by hosting community barbecues, bike tune ups, yard sales, holiday parties, gardening workshops, and other events.
CCOC supports tenant-led initiatives that are open to all tenants where they live and that are in line with CCOC’s mission and values. We would love to help bring your idea to life.

Tenant-led Initiative fund
CCOC is excited to help bring your ideas for community events to life and has a limited fund to support this. Requests are approved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
To be eligible for funding, your event or activity must be free of charge to participants, nonpartisan and all tenants at the property must be invited to attend.
CCOC will reimburse $50-$150 based on property size to purchase items to support your event. This could include food, non-alcoholic drinks, decorations, sound system rental, etc.
- Buildings with less than 10 units – reimbursement up to $50
- Buildings with 10-49 units – reimbursement up to $100
- Buildings with 50+ units – reimbursement up to $150
If you would like to use one of the CCOC community meeting rooms or pickup a portable BBQ from us for your event, let us know. We can also support you with outreach or event planning to help make your event a success!
