CCOC is hosting a free movie night where we’ll be screening Wasteland. Renowned artist Vik Muniz journeys to his native Brazil and the world’s largest garbage dump. There he photographs an eclectic band of self-designated pickers of recyclable materials and recreates photographic images of them out of garbage revealing both the dignity and despair of the catadores as they begin to re-imagine their lives.
