You will be responsible for recording approved expenditures and processing payments in an effective and efficient manner to ensure that vendors are paid within established time limits, and for preparing daily deposits. You should be open to working with people from diverse backgrounds to provide friendly, respectful, and efficient service. Proficiency using technology including Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi Voyager and ability to communicate in English clearly is a must.
The Capital Projects Manager is responsible for implementing and administering all of CCOC’s special maintenance and capital repairs projects, including disaster recovery projects. CCOC is a provider of affordable housing and strives to be a Landlord of choice, as such the needs of our tenants and communication with them forms a significant part of all our project planning. The successful applicant will have exemplary people skills to manage projects that impact tenant’s day to day lives with sensitivity and open communication.
Our ideal candidate 5-10 years of practical experience in the field. You should have a working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management and contract software.
You are someone who is as comfortable working with schedules and budgets in the office as you are on a construction site. You’re at ease talking to diverse groups of people including tenants, funders, and contractors.
Our Project Managers, hold themselves accountable for providing a highly professional service controlling scope, timeliness and budget in a non-profit environment, requiring efficient use of resources.
The work load will include high value projects and a large volume of lower value short duration projects. Regardless of capital value CCOC strives to bring professional management to all of our projects from inception to close out.
Formal education in project management is a significant asset.
Compensation: Starting wage between $62,553 and $73,591, based on experience and qualifications. The maximum compensation for this position is $84,630.
