See a CCOC apartment you love? Want to apply to live in a CCOC building? Great! The first step in the application process is to schedule a viewing by contacting the Rental Officer. Leave a message at the extension or send an email directly to them.
We only accept applications from people who have viewed the available apartment. This is to make sure you’re happy with the apartment you’re applying for, and to give you a better sense of the building you’ll be moving into. CCOC apartments are available on a first-come, first-served basis which means we accept the first qualified application for each home.
Apply for one of our affordable Ottawa apartments
Once your viewing is complete, you will receive a copy of the application package. Fill this out and provide all requested documentation to make sure your application is processed in a timely manner. One of our rental officers will follow up with you to let you know whether your application has been approved, or if we need more information to be able to process your application.
What’s needed to apply?
- A completed application form
- Authorization for a landlord reference check
- Authorization to have your credit checked
- Proof of income

The apartments you see available on our website are open to market rent applications only. CCOC does not maintain our own waiting list for subsidized housing. Learn more about how to obtain a rent subsidy in the city of Ottawa.
