Seed Saving – Getting Started So You Have Seeds FOREVER!

May 10, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

We’re partnering with Just Food and the Centretown Citizens Community Association to present this workshop on seed saving.

Even if you only have one plant or a small mixed vegetable garden, you can save seeds!  There are some basic tips to this age-old practice to help you have good harvests year after year – and be self sufficient.

Join us for an introductory workshop on seed saving. The trainer is Kate Green, from Seeds of Diversity Canada. She has been a seed saver for many years, and training others on seeds saving for 6 years. Bring your interest and questions! Be ready for an active evening as well – we will get right into it!
